Anti-Bucket List: January

So, another January's gone by again as quickly as it came. It's been a very hectic month uni-wise as Januarys always are (aaaah!) but the assessment period's now over at last and I've been able to take a few days out of study to let my poor little brain recover before semester two starts next week. The brain is practically a muscle so it's only right that it should have some rest days too, days which have given me a chance to reflect.

Reunion '29


Long before I ever left school, I used to fantasise about my future school reunions. Is that weird? I don't know, but I guess it must have been the influence of American television because I'm not even sure if we have massive reunions here in little old England. Anyway, I used to imagine what ours would be like. It doesn't matter if I look like a potato now and the boy I fancy doesn't know my name, I'd tell myself, because in 20 years at Reunion '29 I'll be all grown up and incredible, and that's when I'll snap him up. They won't know what's hit them. Oh dear oh dear, Georgia. Don't get me wrong, this wasn't something I thought about a lot, but it did cross my mind from time to time, in the same way I used to imagine what my specialist subject would be on Mastermind.

New Year

A lot of things happened in 2015. Some of them were big and some of them were not so big, but I think it's fair to say (even though it's a cliché) that I'm a different person coming out of 2015 than I was going in. I like who I've become. I didn't exactly achieve great things or tick off all of my resolutions (more on that in a minute) but I think it's been a good year for ~personal development~ hooray!
